Celebrating Joan

Family and friends gathered on August 8 to celebrate Joan's life and legacy. Here is the video of her funeral Mass (in 2 parts).

On Monday, August 10, we interred Joan's ashes next to Bill's in Lansing. Both beautiful wood vessels were procured by Joan's oldest, Maryjo Lemanski. Each is a piece of art reflective of the person whose earthly remains they hold. And the Belgian lace on Joan's vessel is a family heirloom. What an honor and privilege to be able to walk them both home, 9 years apart, and see them side by side again.
